Body Work
I absolutely love the art of massage.
Taking time to pause.
To focus on the breath and listen to the body’s cues.
Massage therapy is the foundation of my knowledge base.
Having deeply studied the anatomy of the pregnant body, I can see how tension and imbalance impact not only comfort in pregnancy, but also the position baby is in. By bringing release and alignment back to the body, I have seen how it can create an easier pregnancy, labor & birth.

I offer the following Bodywork & Massage sessions, and am happy to create a custom package for you!
I offer services at The Lactation Room in Mt. Airy, MD. as well as in the comfort of your own home.

Prenatal
Prenatal massage is my specialty!
This is the first modality that I became certified in. Soothe discomforts and prepare the body for birth with a balancing massage that creates space for baby to get into a good position.
I offer both side-lying massage as well as face down, prone massage with a belly bolster to ensure maximum comfort for my clients.
Induction
A flowy blend of relaxation, stretching, cranial sacral therapy and reflexology as well as aromatherapy with my custom labor supporting essential oil blend is used to assist in preparing the body for labor. To enhance this experience, I recommend using my herbal birth prep tea as well.

This massage is only offered at 37 weeks or beyond, unless you have a medical induction scheduled already.

Postpartum
Giving birth is very hard work, and the postpartum period is a time of healing and restoration. Release tight hips and shoulders, soothe aching muscles, restore alignment, and re-center the womb. This massage can be received any time after birth!

Breech Release

This gentle form of bodywork is about facilitating connection with you and your baby.
We will NOT use force in these sessions, it is not an ECV (External Cephalic Version). What I offer in these sessions is loosening and softening of restrictions, balancing bodywork & encouragement for baby to find a new position.
